Risoul in Real-Time via Webcams

Because a picture is worth a thousand words, here are the links that will allow you to follow the various webcams in real-time:

To ensure you can fully enjoy the ski area, we provide you with a map that explains how to plan your day and your itinerary by following the sun. A precious document that we share with you because everyone knows that skiing is even better with a good tan and pleasant temperatures!

This map is old, and the ski lifts and slopes no longer entirely correspond to reality, but the idea is there, and we strongly recommend that you refer to it for several days of pure joy.

The beginner’s area

In Risoul, beginner skiers are kings! We believe that every skier deserves to discover the joys of skiing, regardless of their level. That’s why ski lifts and specially designed slopes are accessible for free to beginners. Ideal for making your first steps on the snow, don’t you think? Follow the guide, let's take a tour of the place!

A fun and friendly area

In the beginner area, the warm and family-friendly spirit of the resort reigns supreme. Several ski slopes, specifically designed for learning, await you with gentle and progressive slopes. Whether you are an adult or a child, your first sliding sensations and turns will be made easier.

Adapted ski lifts

The ski lifts are also designed to accommodate beginners. A telecord and two drag lifts are available, with attendants always present to assist you!

How to access it?

It’s very simple! Go to the central ski lift ticket office to get the card that serves as your free pass, for only €2. You will then have free access to the beginner area with the telecord (R1) from the snow front, and you can use this same card later to purchase paid ski passes, during the same stay or in the following years.

Beginner area accessible to pedestrians

If you don't ski, you can use the telecord R1 for free and thus also have access to the beginner area. This will allow you to gain some altitude and enjoy a walk in the heights, for a meal break, or simply to admire the progress of your dear children.

Meal breaks and relaxation

Several picnic tables are waiting for you to grab a bite before heading back to the slopes. For cozier meals, the Le Clos Fournier restaurant proudly stands at the top of the telecord. You can enjoy a quick meal on the terrace or warm up indoors.

Warning: By sharing this off-piste map with you, which the resort no longer publishes, we obviously disclaim any responsibility in case of accidents or other unfortunate events. The use of this information is at your own risk. Be sure to take all necessary precautions and follow safety instructions. The map is outdated, and some areas, slopes, or ski lifts have changed, but the spirit remains.

Skiing with disabilities

The Risoul resort, in collaboration with the Antenne Handicap association, has launched a new way for people with reduced mobility to ski: the GOTOSKI.

The GOTOSKI is a snow scooter capable of reproducing the 8 movements of the feet during skiing! Thanks to this, 76% of people with disabilities can ski standing up!

The GOTOSKI was developed to teach skiing through perception rather than imitation, allowing many people with disabilities to practice skiing. This includes people with hemiplegia, hemiparesis, quadriplegia, visual impairments, mental disabilities, autism, amputation, multiple sclerosis, or those with balance, mobility, or concentration issues.

Note: It’s not necessary to be able to walk to use the GOTOSKI! However, training is required to master this equipment. Ski instructors or snowscoot trainers can provide all the necessary information.
